Musings of Mehrangarh

Musings of Mehrangarh (2017) Created whilst on residency at Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur, India, in September 2017, the resulting assemblages commemorate fleeting personal experiences of interacting with the landscape of Mehrangarh and Jodhpur that I found myself immersed within as an observer collecting memories and inspiration. The works incorporate a series of drawings made in response to found notes gathered during the project, that use incidental marks and text as a starting point to build images evocative of the surrounding architecture and environment.
