Underlying my perceived chaos and spontaneity I am a very organised and compartmentalised person. Throughout lockdown I have explored some of these facets and this arrived out of a love of numbers, I get a kick out of synchronous number sequences which have a pattern, can be divided, multiplied, or just look good. I love arrows, crosses and directive symbols and also colour coding. I get visual pleasure from the contrast of organic shapes and lines against straight, geometric lines/shapes
This collage plays with this a scrawled noughts and crosses in the bottom left overlaid with fluorescent dividers and precise number shapes exploding out from the centre.
