Nanjing Road First of May - Shanghai

Charcoal drawing made after my visit to Shanghai. Nanjing Road is the busiest shopping area in Shanghai and on First of May which is a Chinese national holiday it was busier than ever. I wanted to capture the speed and energy of Shanghai and its people. In the background can be seen the Radisson Blu tower, very retro in feel and one of my favorite buildings in Shangahai
