"Night bird"
Occasionally I break my own rules, step out of one process and into another. This work is weighted more towards direct brushwork with small accents of collaged paint.
The ghost of a geometric abstraction is visible in the painting. It’s rigid order sits in contrast to the bird with its connotations of freedom in the natural world.
