No Trace of Burning

By Patrick Haughton 2006

Patrick Haughton

Dimensions
59cm x 123 cm

An acrylic painting on relief construction, incorporating a fragment of found timber. Part of a series with the overall title “After The Voyage”, originally made for the exhibition “Constructed” at Newlyn Art Gallery (2002 / 3). Traces of the words ‘fire extinguisher’ can just be seen on the fragment of found wreckage incorporated in the piece – hence “No Trace of Burning”.
