Solo Exhibition: Installation of 5 hanging sculptures and soundscape

​Rooted in both elemental materiality and immersive sonic experience, the exhibition transforms the space into a living, resonant landscape. The installation comprises of multiple hanging sound sculptures: sonic resonance chambers that amplify frequencies to generate overlapping harmonic tones.

At its core, ‘Noise’ is a deconstructed landscape. It is built not of topographic forms, but from the elemental substances of Earth: Soil, Sand, Rock, Water, and Grass. The work seeks to reimagine how we perceive the foundations of the world around us, using these symbolic ‘building blocks’ to explore both physicality and perception.

The contrast between the 4th Century Roman Wall at Posterngate and the hanging sculptures, offers a reflection on time, memory, and creation, from primordial formation to digital simulation. The installation suggests the sense of a landscape engine, as might be seen in Blender or Minecraft, yet constructed by hand, in real space, with tangible materials. Through the layering of sound, space, and texture, ‘Noise’ offers a meditative yet dissonant experience, a chamber of nature, technology, and temporality.
