Nun

By  Alice Kin 2021

If you believe what you see online, there’s people walking sacred steps, on our sacred Earth, being very.. sacred.
A real day living close to the Earth usually involves a few tools. The mattock is the tooth and claw we need to dig land and cut through roots - making us more truthfully a mammal.

It’s very hard to be sacred, not implicated with the great sins of this world, and ‘Nun’ in her pink plastic habit, lusty breast, with a great big tool is both humour and a nod to the sacred found through grubby toil.

NB: I had ideas to print this on organza, 3 metres tall. With a small fund and technical guidance I would like to realise this.
