Observation Jewellery - Analysis Ring

Part of a series of pieces which form part of a wider investigation into scientific instruments, camera mechanisms and the aesthetic of tools and devices. These wearable mechanisms are all kinetic, moving with the wearer, and in a manner befitting the function of observation. Forming part of a wider body of work being produced with Tim Pugh named 'Time & Tide', these objects would be worn by a person in awe of the world, observing their small finds, and in doing so scrutinising themselves and their position in the universe.
