One Day in Shoreditch

Giclee print photographic enlargement of a single image in award-winnning artist Sarah Kudirka's striking oil and polaroids series "City Skies London" that numbers over 400 individual images The image is based on a building-mounted advertising billboard she saw on Shoreditch High Street. The location is close to the artist's studio and on the fringes of the business district, where the artist most likes to walk and find her inspiration, looking up at the sky squeezed in between the urban buildings. The original image (see image two, it is now in a private collection) on which this print is based was polaroid-sized. The artist's own print enlargement brings out the beautiful colour pop or 'glitch' in the original polaroid she worked over.
