Between 2010 and 2014 Woollenline was created with the help of over 1,000 people. Now in 2025 as conversations stilll reverberate I found myself wondering how one line could generate so many conversations and how actions can impact thinking.
Unlike the 300metre long line of felted wool drawn across a peat scar high in the Black Mountains of Wales, UK, this current work was made in the warmth and comfort of my studio and offers a reflection on the impact of Woollenline, a socially engaged and durational landscape drawing.
