openspace – Art residencies at the Shorestation, Unst Shetland Isles I am interested in creative collaborations and providing a supportive space for artists to come and work on Britain’s most northerly inhabited island. The residencies are both funded and self funded, some a direct collaboration, others an opportunity for people to develop their own projects or to have time for a creative retreat. I welcome proposals for use of the space, priority is given to direct collaborations and artists who want to engage with the island and the people here. I provide a studio space and shared flat, providing vegetarian meals on a donation basis. Initial residencies are a week long and usually in spring or autumn.
