Origination: Dinner Party

A collaborative performance work which consisted of filming the cooking and preparation of a meal and then serving it to guests at a dinner in the gallery, with the film projected as a triptych. The meal was introduced by the artists Katy and Rebecca Beinart with readings from their correspondance about family, migration and food. The meal consisted of Borscht, Black Bread and Cucumber and Dill Salad, recipes traditionally used by Eastern European Jewish families.
