Sculptural installation, balloons, soil, thread, steel pins, gold leaf. Working with balloons is a tense and unpredictable process particularly when they are filled with soil (as here). This tension is central to the artwork.
The work explores the link between internal and external realities, the conscious and the unconscious processes that guide and inform life.
