Pasiphaë Nine
By

2019
Pasiphaë Nine is a synthesis of impressions from Minoan cultural artefacts and their restorations. Refs. Heraklion Archaeological Museum, Knossos, Aegean Sea and Queen Pasiphaë, the Minotaur’s mother.
NB
It not irrelevant that the “dolphins” appear rather figuratively due to tackling callionymus reticulatus painted for the #200 Fish, North Sea project.
Oil on canvas.
