It is based on a collection of unused passport photographs of myself, accumulated over a period of nearly 30 years. All components of this Photofit are of my own features, so there can only be one result ... . I am an artist with a background in science. Usually, I start with a question, I am trying to solve, and then express this process with my art. In this case, the question is 'identity'. Are we the same person we were at 10, 20, 40 years of age? And if so, why did we change? Scientists believe, that every 5 years all atoms in our body have been replaced. So, what is it exactly, we call 'I'?" This project is ongoing.
