Physical Stitch (still)

The film Physical Stitch evolved from a conversation with my friend Liz Harding. Through our discussions it became obvious that we shared an interest in documenting the making process. In this piece we reflect on the artistic process. Liz Harding has been and continues to be inspired by landscape near her home wich she walks regularly. In the film we consider the historical tradition of painting en plein air through the less familiar medium of embroidery.
