Pod

'Pod' explores the mechanical aspects of the reproductive system within Nature. It was partly inspired by Dylan Thomas' poem ' the force that through the green fuse drives the flower'..... this poem contemplates how the same natural mechanics that drives sap through tree trunks and the stems of plants is also at play within our own bodies - driving the blood through our veins until we die, but the cycle of birth and death is continuous - humans, animals and plants all operate within a larger mechanism that appears to be moving forwards, but is perhaps also repeating.
