Pomegranate 4

From '[Pomegranate] fig, herb, spice', project in development which includes image, text, and image/ text pieces. These all deal with edible and medicinal plants, but also investigate colour, language(s) and the relationship between image and text. The text pieces include lists of plants according to colour; etymologies of English names; lists of species in a genus, place of origin, their uses in food, and Chinese medicinal term for the part used; lists of different languages names for the same thing. The wider context for this project is concerns about land use and food production.
