The initial layer of thrown river-mud on watercolour paper was executed a few years ago. The work has since then lain dormant, incomplete, waiting for the 'right' something to happen. In response to an exhibition, a narrative has now been suggested by the formation of the thrown mud. This has been explored and developed with collage.
