Presence and absense (1st stone)

Incisive Letterwork

Text Barbara Radiche: 'Art and poetry, philosophy and science deal in different ways with the same question, and the question always has to do with presence and absence, what is there and what is not there and why'. The inscription is designed to give equal visual importance to the letters and the letter spaces, and only parts of both are carved. Exhibited at The Ground Beneath Our Feet, Morley Gallery, London and sold to private collector.
