Putt Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

Based on the shapes of the holes at the crazy golf course in Ilfracombe ‘Putt Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’ explores the common shapes and forms that vie for our attention in such landscapes. Removed from their familiar context they take on new qualities and forms, like the holiday traveller themselves their new context removes their day-to-day purpose and allows new forms to emerge.
The display method is inspired by the cages of beach goods; parasols, rock-pooling nets, windbreaks, cricket sets, footballs that sit outside a typical beachside shop, spilling out,  demanding attention while simultaneously trapped, waiting to fulfil their purpose
