Recline

The work is a maquette carved from a single block of Portuguese limestone. It 'deconstructs' from a reclining figure to explore various sculptural formats and spatial relationships. It 'performs' sculpturally from various angles. It seeks to provoke issues regarding personal identity. It is also intended for realisation at a monumental scale.
