Red Tarpaulin

This photograph is from 'Bright Side Up', images of fairs and markets. This selection, from my wider and ongoing exhibition of colour photographs, can be seen as a contemporary variant of Pop Art, since it presents items of popular culture and revels in their quirkiness and sheer bravado. The work achieves unity through a bold, colourful and accessible style.
