James Winnett

Dimensions
300cm x 200cm x 200cm

Installation developed as part of Stop, Rewind, Skip, Play, Hotel MariaKapel, January - March 2009. Translated as 'Save the Green' the work was developed following consultation with groups of local residents who formed a campaign to save two historic houses and gardens from a new development. The wider exhibition explored historical notions of 'the future', unpicking both local and global imagery associated with 'forgotten futures' and ideas of progress and sustainability.
