Reflections
Reflection is the process through which reason allows the organism to theoretically interpret and practically manipulate sensory appearances.
This work tackles gender and interconnectedness. Distorting, deformed and troubled oceanic mirrors emerge from the wall. These pieces in-between definitions of object, science, and animal, inscribe themselves in the Chthulucene.
Blue liquid passes through the mirrors, expanding behind the walls, implying a larger invisible web of liquid connections.
As we look into a dysmorphic troubled self, now (de)formed and anew, breaking an anthropocentered view, we perhaps become a little bit more entangled with the invisible Chthonic chords.
