The creation of the garden Cairnhill is a long term project which was started in 2009. Cairnhill is situated in the rural surroundings in the south Charente area of France. It contains a orchard of grafted fruit trees of old varieties specific to the region and is a designated refuge for birds and wildlife under the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux.
