Subject matter: An investigation into the world of sounds and resonances as experienced at a live performance of Officium Novum by Jan Garbarek (saxophonist) and The Hilliard Ensemble. The language of gestural mark-making forming the framework for the journey of choices and challenges. This painting is one of an ongoing series. Mixed media painting on paper incorporating gestural mark making with use of layered techniques, water colour paint, acrylic ink and chalk pastel.
