A commission for the project Contemporary Art in the Surrey Landscape; artists response to specific locations across surrey. River banners explored the history of local people and the landscape thought the movement of fabric in water. Photographs from Dorking Museum's archive were printed onto lengths of cloth and submerged into the River Mole, at the base of Box Hill. Each photograph told a story of Dorking life creating floating memories, blurred and distorted, washed by the flow of water.
