Rope View

Rope View sits high on a hill top above the seaside town of Paignton, Devon. Two giant seats of rope, carved in white granite, give you the chance to stop and look out to the sea, Paignton Harbour and the Berry Head nature reserve. 

Each bench weight approximately two and a half tonnes. The work was commissioned by Lidl GB Ltd, prepared from digital originals, by Hardscape Ltd and installed with the local stonemason, Bruce Kirby of Acanthus Ltd.
