A site specific work created for Sculpture@the Grove exhibition in Cromer, a contemporary outdoor sculpture exhibition run by Cromer Artspace. ‘Sea Wall’ includes numerous elements related to its location, specifically using Cromer's famous crabs as the main theme, while considering coastal erosion and the resultant recently positioned piles of boulders on the beach as sea defence, there is also a narrative of crabs coming inland to take revenge after being caught for fun and eaten as a delicacy. It also acknowledges amusement arcades, beach toys and the vast use of concrete along the seafront, within its own construction.
