Series A

'Series A' explores the temporal and spatial transformation of painting through photography and the correspondences of music and image. A sequence of 36 film frames were painted and transformed in-camera through optical printing, using reflected and refracted light to animate and reaffirm the film surface. David McKenzie composed an electronic music track to the film, inspired by 'La Poule' by JP Rameau.
