Seven squares on a wall, table and floor

By  Jane Ostler 2017
Two of the five elements of my 1980 degree show. Governed by the arbitrary sizes of seven surplus stretcher frames. The paper books were placed on the work bench table and floor. Each book was ring bound, with multiple different coloured pages, with tunnels cut into them, to highlight multiple dimensions. The books could offer various states of change. The row of canvases above on the wall matched the books in size, but showed the obverse side of a canvas, cut from the large work "Seven or Eight Squares" hanging on the adjacent wall.
