A period of personal illness as lockdowns were easing in 2020 led to me being bedbound in midsummer. Invited to make an artwork for sharing online, I could only return to material previously gathered in and around the Mynydd Llangatwg caving system to make this video piece, Shelter in Place (2020) duration 20 mins. This video forms the basis for a new painting series on underground and overground journeys - to be exhibited in June.
