SHOAH: the path taken

By Phil Whiting 2004 - 2025

I made this acrylic, ink and PVA on paper painting informed by sketches I made in December 2004 whilst following a trail through the woods which unknown to me was about to lead me to Gas-chamber 3 in Auschwitz-Birkenau. The painting was purchased by Monmouth School and is now installed in the School Chapel on the Wall of Remembrance.
