Studies created from drawings made at the beautiful Bazalgette pioneering sewage pumping station, Abbey Mills in Stratford, East London in the 1980s. I'm not actually sure what these mechanisms were for, but I liked the shapes, and they were attached to the amazing, massive, sewer pipes that cured London of The Great Stink. Jane Stobart
