Sky, Ground, Sky

Based on a walk along the old Victoria Tunnel in Newcastle, walking the route above ground and recording the journey through photography and text in a notebook. This painting dipicts the colours collected along the route, minute by minute. The colours are alternate row by row, one taken from the sky, the next from the ground, repeated throughout the painting.
