Slingshot

This sculptural intervention was created for the National Trust's Nymans property as part of an Unravelled Arts curated exhibition. My work focused on the stories related to the evacuated children based at the house during the Second World War. Slingshot, an imagining to how the evacuees may have spent their time at Nymans is strategically placed in the arms of a garden cherub, transforming the innocent into impish. https://www.alecstevens.co.uk/slingshot
