Small Hours

An animation (no sound) of about 160 images looped to 23 seconds. Drawings hand drawn in ink, charcoal, pen onto a series of printed photos in black and white (no colour perceivable in the dark of night). The drawn marks spider over a restless head which has both open and closed eyes. It’s both analogue - hand drawings using traditional drawing materials, and digital (a word which implies both technology, fingers and time passing (see 20:22) in the technology of animation, looping etc.
