small one word drawings

I have been making these small one-word drawings since travelling in 2015. A fellow traveller gave me a pack of Japanese rice paper bought on their own journey, and I began writing a single word each day, words including care, kindness, love, free, flowing, let go, trust, truth, surrender. The series has since extended onto transparency paper, allowing the drawings to be installed on windows and walls, most recently as part of The Thinking Hand at VOLT gallery, Devonshire Collective, Eastbourne.
