' I painted this in 1994, its title is 'some of the guardians at the gates of Improvisation' oil on canvas 330cm x 220cm. It was a way of resolving the struggle with the shadows of doubt,disapproval and uncertainty that befall the artist. The materialization into shape and form of those mocking inner voices gave them identity, making it possible to recognize and therefore to confront them
