'Soundings' for the Exhibition 'Vassen Susar' in Finland

This exhibition with two Scottish artists and four Finnish developed out of the residency at Saari, Finland. We were exploring reed as a material as it is an ecological problem in Finland. I created an installation using the cleaned reed stalks to fill a room, through which people walked. In another room I used the sound of the reeds along with a series of black and white images of reed in my own landscape of Skye. see my website for more inforamtion
