Narrated by Gerard Fletcher Music by Jeff Harbourne Supported by Airfix Spitfire Beach is a film with voiceover narrative. The semi-abstract narrative is structured around a found list of the ten best selling Airfix model aeroplanes. Each name appears in order throughout the narrative. The apocalyptic story is set in a non-time and place where individuals have to discard their personal belongings by throwing them into the sea. It is recounted from the point of view of a man, waiting in line to carry out this task. The films imagery is that of a sculpture made from pieces of Airfix model aeroplanes.
