Still Life/Nature Morte

Nature Morte: Le Hangar en Bois Gallery, Bordeaux: Art Chartrons Festival 2008. Each artist was asked to develop a personal interpretation of the theme in relation to their own practice. As a traditional and common theme in the visual cultures of both countries, Still Life/Nature Morte provided the focus for both the exhibition and subsequent discussions which sought to explore different cultural perspectives and agree proposals for a second exchange exhibition. The exchange programme received funding from ACEWM and the Bordeaux City Council.
