"Stopped Time"

The temporary artwork was assembled at South Beach in Whitehaven which has been a major source of inspiration and focus during the last few years and has a timeless atmosphere .The clock with no time hands reinforces this impression where the traditional process of calibration is rendered meaningless and irrelevant compared to its own geographical timescale.The artwork was assembled in predictably rough conditions and its survival and existence was dictated by the tide.
