Michaelmas daisy stems are anchored in the wall so as to highlight the curves of their stems. They are like probes or sensors and appear to be curious, looking around, inquiring, some even forming noses, nosy. There is a strangeness to the forms, like threads or wiring, bits and pieces of a puzzle. Associations include components or parts of something, fragments of a drawing, of a map, dot to dot, joining the dots, bits of text or missing outlines, analyzing or examining something, botany, marks, the components of art.
