Symbio-Nest

Using a tripod of springy salvaged steel rods for support, this hydrid being centres on a hollow form reminiscent of a nest. The materials are fused together by way of binding, knotting and needle felting. The piece is part of an ongoing series exploring themes of adaptation and evolution using discarded materials, many of which are found littering the countryside.
