Table linen

My fascination with culinary implements has inspired three contemporary ranges of table linen. In 'Jellies and Cutlery', vibrant designs are created through the printed repetition of delicate forks, spoons and jelly moulds forming rhythmic compositions. Intricate as individual images, en masse they reveal bold stripes of colour. 'Abstract Culinary' takes the essential elements of a range of kitchen utensils to form abstract blocks of pattern, creating seven designs - 'Poach', 'Mash', 'Sift', 'Squeeze' and 'Whisk', as well as 'Abstract Culinary', a composition of all six motifs. 'Pulse' is developed from the idea of fusing the inside of a colander with a paper doiley. It is a two colour print taking the form of a bold circular geometric pattern that is also delicate, giving the impression of a punched-through or cut-away effect.
