This artwork is about a School boy who does not get education. Not culturally guided towards academia this artistic lad feels lost at his secondary state school. His friends might be a little rebellious, but he goes with the flow and he doesn’t get them and vice versa. He is Feeling isolated and school is a bleak experience. However, he is’ taken out’ at the end of a term for a holiday to the South of France. Travelling south in a car the Light hits him. The boy regards this as his ‘Theme Park’ the characters, food, Architecture, the landscape, the streets, the Mediterranean Sea; France is a Cultural and Visual awakening.
