An assemblage of found objects from the artists' walks along the North Yorkshire coast. Presented in 2025 as part of the solo exhibition A time and Place. The Albatross, from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, [Samuel Taylor Coleridge]: a heavy, obsolete burden which we cannot bring ourselves to discard; these rusted, heavy parts of a combustion engine, found half-buried on a sandy beach represents a toxic Albatross of our age. Presented on a powder-coated steel stand, with sand from the beach where it was found.
