The Clearing

These painted collages are inspired by edgeland spaces and the overlooked in the landscape. I work in painted collage as I have an affinity with this process, manipulating the painted paper, assembling the fragments much as I  do with paint. These paintings assemble, subdued colour and changing textures to evoke these abandoned areas.
